The NYC History of Science Working Group is a consortium of scholars in all aspects of the history, philosophy, sociology of science and related disciplines.  Its members are drawn from institutions all across the greater New York City area.  It is sponsored by NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study.

The Working Group regularly sponsors presentations and lectures on the history of science.  It also meets monthly during the academic year to discuss work-in-progress of its members.  This website provides a central location for all history of science related events in New York City.  For more information about any of the Working Group's activities, or events listed here, please see our contact page.

The Working Group is closely affiliated with the New York Academy of Sciences' History and Philosophy of Science Section and the Metropolitan Section of the History of Science Society.
